As for returns on selling Covered Calls each year, it’s hard to put a definite number on it as each year is different. But you certainly can still sell Covered Calls during a bear market as long as it’s above your Covered Call. If I had seen this at the first of 2022, it would have saved me from losing any money.
What do you consider a reasonable return from just selling covered calls each year?
Is it foolish to try and do this during a bear market?
