Good question. Traders would love to get their shares called away because they&#039;re just in it for the short-term. Investors on the other hand just want to have some income by selling Covered Calls while holding on to their shares for the long-term with no intention of letting go of their shares. So it depends on whether you&#039;re opening the Covered Call position as a trader or an investor.]]></description>
